A NOTE TO ALL WHO LEAVE THE DISTRICT FOR THE WINTER
Please note that ballots can't legally be forwarded. If a voter isn't at the address listed on the label, the ballot information is returned to the school. This includes voters who leave for the winter, even if they leave a forwarding address at the post office. The post office can't legally pass along forwarding information to the district. Those voters can contact the school to request an absentee ballot. However that process is:
1) The voter requests to vote absentee ballot
2) The school will mail an absentee ballot request.
3) The voter completes the request and mails it back to the school
4) The school will then mail the absentee ballot to the voter
5) The voter completes the ballot and mails it to the district.
To speed the process up......items 2 and 3 can be completed via fax or email. The application does have to be signed, however.
If you need an absentee ballot, please contact the CG School 218-776-3112
A NOTE TO ALL REGISTERED VOTERS LIVING IN THE DISTRICT
The ballots were mailed on November 17th. Please make certain that all portions of your signature envelope are filled out. Please make certain that you sign your ballot. Please have a witness fill out the witness section and sign. If all items are not completed - name, address, and signature - in both sections, the ballot judges will have to reject the ballot. If you have not received your ballot or have any questions on how to complete your ballot, please contact the school at 218-776-3112.
Be sure to sign your Mail Ballot Return Envelope. You also must have a registered voter witness your signature and sign. Your ballot cannot be counted without these signatures.
If you have questions contact Paula at the school office at 218-776-3112.

Congratulations to Liz Bodensteiner for making the records books in girls basketball. Liz made 14 out of 15 shot attempts vs. Sacred Heart on December 2 which currently ranks 6th all-time in the state of Minnesota for Field Goal Percentage in a game. Great job Liz!
