As I am sure many of you are aware by now, Clearbrook-Gonvick Bus #2 was involved in an accident this morning. The Bus was going east and was turning north toward Gully; when it was hit broad side by a car headed south. EMT's were on the scene and did initial checks of the students and drivers. The District has reports from 3 children at this time with what appears to be minor injuries, bumps/bruises and . . .
Liz Bodensteiner was selected to this years All-Star Game put on by the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association. She will be playing in Northfield, MN on April 8 . Kicks Off "I Love to Read" month
CG staff kicked off "I Love to Read" month and honored Dr. Seuss on his birthday with a special performance in the school commons. Students were entertained by their teachers as they paraded across the stage to the tune of "Happy", all to encourage the students to READ!!
CG Musicians Make “Sweet Music” at Contest Clearbrook-Gonvick music students, under the direction of directors Katrina Stewart and Tammy Ragan recently competed in the ensemble (small group) contest at Bagley High School. Seven ensembles competed for ratings from judges who offered both written and verbal critiques following the student performances. Receiving a superior rating were Vocal Duet: Bryce . . .
The VEX Robotics Competition was held at St. Cloud River's Edge Convention Center the first weekend in February. Teams competed for the world-qualifying event. Teams were from high schools, Boy Scout troops, and 4-H programs from around Minnesota. Clearbrook-Gonvick High School math and Robotics instructor Gus Vettleson took a team down for the competition.
