Boys 4 x 200 relay sets new school record
The Bears track team had a very good day at the Sub-Section 29A track meet held in Bagley on May 26! Bagley has a beautiful new track and field facility which provided a great setting for the athletes from eight area schools to compete. Congratulations to Lindsey Gray on winning a new bow supplied by John's Bow Shop of Bemidji with a donation from the Gully Area Sportsman's Club! Lindsey shot a score of 1305 out of 1500 possible points to claim the prize. Thanks again to John's Bow Shop and to all the shooters who took part in the program this spring! CONGRATULATIONS to our boys Varsity and girls Junior High track teams on winning Conference Championships at Walker yesterday!! The boys JH team finished 2 nd . Way to go all you tracksters on your great performances!!! This is the 2 nd win in a row for the Junior High girls. The last boys varsity championship was in 1996 (We think! We are doing some more checking!)
Clearbrook-Gonvick students participated in a Science Fair as part of the 5th Annual Bear Share Fair held at the school. The Science Fair was under the direction of Mrs. Sarah Goudge. Eileen Lien selected as First Lady of the county Tamara Edevold from the Clearwater County Historical Society welcomed the many ladies to the 37th Clearwater County First Lady program.
