Two performances: 6pm and 7:30pm
Clearbrook-Gonvick School Commons Stage
Free Admission – (Freewill Donations Accepted to help pay for costumes, royalty fees, etc.).
Frumpled Fairy Tales – performed by the C-G One Act Play cast that won the runner-up trophy at this year’s sub-section competition – is a high energy-colorful-comedic rendition of three of Grimm’s most popular fairy tales. This 30-minute show appeals to both children and adults.
UPDATE: Out of 8 competing groups in the Section contest, our Bears were rated 3rd by one judge, 4th by another and 5th by the final judge! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FINE PERFORMANCES!
C-G Theater’s 2016 One Act Play earned a trip to Section 8A competition on Saturday, February 6, at Crookston High School beginning at 10:00am. CG performs at 1:30pm. GO BEARS!!!
Their high-energy comedy Frumpled Fairy Tales, took second place at Sub-Sections in Bagley last Saturday. The top two teams advanced to Sections. The top team at Sections will earn a trip to the MSHSL One Act Play Festival in St. Paul on February 11.
Frumpled Fairy Tales cast includes Callie Baker, Jeanette Ballard, Kendehl Ballard, Cam Danielson, Xavier Goodwin, Cami Johnson, Jazmyn Smith, and Sierra Walters. Student director is Taylor Volker, technical director is Jay Jones, and artistic director is Mark Carter.
